About Me

I am Melissa Michelle and my passion is grooming dogs and cats. I’ve been grooming dogs for 16 years and cats for over 10 years. Because of my background in mobile grooming, I prefer to dedicate my time and give all my attention to one pet at a time. I run my shop as an in-and-out service that never takes more than 2 hours.

When your pet is in my shop, they’re home! I’ll always treat your dogs and cats as if they were my very own. Spending the time to make them clean and happy brings me the same happiness. I can’t count the number of times that pet owners nearly didn’t recognize their smiling pets after a full groom.

Grooming History

While working at Planet Pooch as an overnight attendant, I became friends with their groomer, Ken. He took me under his wing as a bather and encouraged me to learn the art of grooming. He sent me to Linda Easton, who is well-known in the grooming and dog show world, for my education. After learning the basics, I took over Planet Pooch’s groom shop and ran it for 4 years. Next, I moved to Fancy Feet Grooming where Jennifer instilled the discipline of perfection in me. Not long after, Aussie Pet Mobile offered me the opportunity to work as a mobile groomer in San Francisco. After 4 years with Aussie, I joined the dog walking company, “Who Let the Dogs Out” to start their mobile grooming division.

For as rewarding as these jobs were, I couldn’t shake the dream of opening my own shop. Now I’ve done it! It’s the best feeling in the world to know that this shop is the embodiment of my years of knowledge and experience.
